Industry 4.0 in metallurgical engineering - The future has begun

Already in its second edition, the Metallurgy member companies Metallurgy present their latest innovations for digital transformation in the VDMA brochure "Industry 4.0 in metallurgical engineering - The future has begun". The brochure with more than 20 application examples was published on the occasion of this year's GIFA/METEC/Thermprocess and shows in a compact way how metallurgical machine and plant construction uses its process knowledge to make the transition from extended automation services to flexibly scalable digital production as smooth as possible - from development to remote maintenance, from the visualization of individual components to analytics offerings, which in addition to preconfigured solutions provide the operator with a large selection of intelligent tools for his own agile quality control.
